Dr. Lesley E. Tomaszewski is an academic leader and researcher with over 20 years in higher education and health administration. Before coming to Stony Brook Medicine as the MHA Director Dr. Tomaszewski served as Associate Professor and Director of the MBA and MHA Programs at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN, leading the MHA's CAHME accreditation and developing an online MBA curriculum. She has held positions at Texas A&M University and Dutch institutions, focusing on curriculum redesign and program development. Her research focuses on healthcare leadership and workforce development. Dr. Tomaszewski is committed to teaching, leadership, and mentorship. Dr. T, as her students call her, is a strong advocate for student success, organizational improvement, and inclusive leadership within healthcare education.
