In partnership with the American Heart Association and the Stony Brook Medicine Healthy Libraries Program (HeLP), more than 50 Public Libraries in Suffolk County are offering patrons the opportunity to borrow a blood pressure monitor for a period of 28 days for free. Along with the monitor, the kits include information on how to have a healthy blood pressure level, how to find heart healthy recipes and how to find follow up information on blood pressure self-monitoring.
The cuffs come in three sizes:
- Small
- Standard
- Large
There is also a talking device. Check your local public library for more information. A list of public libraries in Suffolk County can be found here: https://www.livebrary.com/library-directory
