MPH Tuition Scholarship (MD & DDS Applicants Only)

In collaboration with the School of Medicine and the School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook University, the Graduate Program in Public Health offers a limited number of scholarships for students concurrently enrolled in the MD/ MPH or DDS/ MPH programs.

The MPH Tuition Scholarship is merit-based and awarded to outstanding MD/ MPH or DDS/ MPH students. The scholarship covers the full cost of the MPH tuition during the four years of medical/dental school, as well as in the summer prior and the summer after the completion of the MD or DDS degree.

The scholarships will be awarded based on the review of each applicant's current admissions file, which includes MCAT/DAT scores, undergraduate/ graduate GPA, references, experience, and MPH application essays. Up to four medical students and two dental students each year are awarded MPH Tuition Scholarships. Scholarship recipients will be notified via email by the Program in Public Health.
